Conditions of Entry (a reminder):
- Each contestant will be required to prepare his or her recipe on-site, and within 20 minutes to submit the finished sauce to a panel of judges. Contestants' original sauce will be judged on the following criteria - Taste, Texture, Colour, Heat
- To enter, fill out the form below, which includes a description of your recipe along with your name and contact information
- A list of ingredients must be submitted with each entry (no quantities necessary)
- No sauce may include any commercial brand barbeque sauce in the ingredients
- Contestants' ingredients will be kept confidential
- All participants must bring their own unmixed ingredients, enough to make 1/2 cup minimum
- Basic utensils and a cooking area will be provided
- Your entry will be sealed in a glass container and given a number before judging
- Contestants will compete 12 noon - 4 pm on Sat. 9th & Sun. 10th at the Dutch Mason Blues Festival, Truro Raceway & Exhibition Grounds, Bible Hill, NS
- All contestants must arrive and register/sign in 30 minutes prior to the start time
- A $20 Cost of Entry fee to be paid upon signing in
- All participants will be required to sign a Terms & Conditions of Participation form
